Abstract

We experienced a case of acquired benign bronchoesophageal fistula associated esophageal diverticulum which was treated successfully by division of fistulous tract and esophageal diverticulectomy.
Benign bronchoesophageal fistulas associated with esophageal diverticulum are very rare. This presentation is characterized by paroxysmal cough especially after drinking liquids and is easily diagnosed by esophagogram.
